your proposition is curious and vaguely one sided. When you are twenty did you look for someone much younger? What was the age at which you felt your partner if you had one was too old for your level of maturity, wealth and virility?

Women live longer so when is the point at which younger or older stops being relevant?. Men don’t remain god’s gift even if they ever were or believe themselves to be so.
