Rumours are circulating (now, I remind people, that these are rumors at the present moment and have a low probability of actually being true) that at the G20 emergency meeting this weekend at Washington, it is going to be proposed that all markets be shut down next week for some period of time across the world.

If this were to happen (not saying it will happen by any stretch of the imagination), then watch out when the markets eventually re-open because there will be sheer panic as it is an admission by the powers that be that this is very serious (in case you haven't figured that out already).
