The money has been given for economic support advisory consultation help jump start the Economy growth and the mineral industry. It does not mention Training of public servants...?
As I mentioned previously Greenland has many resources it's a big country and strategically important to the US.
You can only look at what is on the table NOW
As an example check GOG progress on applications for projects and see where they are at in the timeframe... Including the project next door.

Of course The US are interested in the whole of Greenland.
As for GML and Shenge they are there because of their expertise as they also are in the US.
I think it is really great opportunity for GOG as the US have a need and want. Both GOG and GML are in the box seat.
If the GOG want things to happen then the EIA should go OK. I am not sure what sort of Royalties are involved in Greenland but having some sort of stake and working towards Greenland being a major resource supplier can only be a huge benefit to Greenland.
So it is really very much down to what's on the negotiating table and who wants what regarding both the US and Greenland.
GML just happen to be in the right position at this moment in time.
