Hit the nail on the head. BHP need do nothing with cash as over next 12 months profits will be down.
Smart move IMHO- may even see BHP rise a bit more on back of this . BUT general trend is still down and i believe it will retest old lows.
Not good for RIO, the amount paid for Alcan was too high at top of market.
My thoughts only
