So I agree, if turbines can't operate in this kind of weather they have no place in that part of Australia.

There is a place for renewables, no question.

What gets me is the crazy AGW zealots refuse, point blank, to acknowledge that they have limitations. As you correctly point out wrt turbines.

They see them as some panacea and they simply are not.
