Maybe or maybe not now, but the potential partner here could end up being Cuscal - the payments industry group who provide a lot of financial payment services to a lot of groups.
The explicit link might be through the neobank 86400, of whom Cuscal is a significant backer. Makes a lot of sense. Could be very complementary - Cuscal gets a BNPL offering, ZIP gets offered as a payment option to a host of established clients.
