Each to their own. Many of us with sizeable investments and/or a strong desire to see the company succeed will be subscribing partly to assist the company & the health of our existing holding.

Yes, it's only $5K some of you might be saying, but much like when it's election time its the cumulative effect of everyone participating that makes or breaks.

Also, 11c is not a lot when you consider the company's near term potential given that it already has TruScreen consoles out there (soon to be more, re. Pakistan etc.) and CerviScreen is already selling ($3M to June 09). It's almost purely a matter of whether they get sufficient funding or not, and the SPP is not the only source of funding (other large investors lined up).

p.s. your assumption as to the direction of the SP hinges on no news, as you say. There's every chance that plenty of good news is on its way, this company has so many balls in the air at the moment ... who knows?!
