Don't know about others but I've been watching EM1 since they announced that they had 6mil pre-registrations. I saw that and was immediately skeptical about their legitimacy.
While 50 - 100k subs may bring in a decent amount of money, the conversion of those supposed 6mil pre-regos is very low. And that worries me. I'll keep watching to see if anything positive eventuates but won't be buying in the short term.
