Thanks Gigachad. And I acknowledge that our concreter has that 30% extra savings in cement since it's being replaced by flyash.
But it's good to see we're leveling the playing field somewhat in terms of cost (respectfully, I recall "$5,000/t vs $150/t" being bandied about to imply one was very much more expensive than the other. Clearly this not the case.)
If I was building a multi-storey hospital to deadline and budget, I would very much want to have the issue of time-to-full-strength cleared up (I refer you again to the US document re flyash; and I seem to recall some months on HC ADN ago this timing issue was entered into at length by someone in the industry).
Also, I very much don't know the ins and out of the research. For one thing, I'm just a lay person. For another, the research is still underway! My limited experience with research is that it's expensive, laborious and tends to get instigated only if the fundamentals stack up.
