0.14% of capital sold short leaves ADN at ~400th most shorted stock on ASX; the largest at around 13% (Tassal), >10% Webjet & quite a few at 7%+ (ING, FLT, BVS, RSG, SSM). In other words, there is next to nothing sold short. In addition, the register is pretty liquid given the large amount of retail holders. Hence, if they get the analysis correct, ADN is potentially attractive to short. However, I think it's obvious what would derail shorters. But any announcements would have to be genuine value add given the hefty market cap. That's really binding offtake agreements at decent prices, rather than more "blue-sky" stuff. .
