so why is everyone so angry at people who short a stock? Should the same anger be shown towards spruikers who deliberately inflate the perceived value of a stock only to profit by selling into rising buying interest? Come on guys. In some ways, people who short stocks are the natural antidote for those who excessively spruik. In the middle are the less sophisticated mob who simply want to invest for the purposes of real growth. These people are the targets of spruikers and shorters. The market is a callous place full of self interest and greed. Posts on this forum for some time have hallmark this. Very sad to see.
