Here is an example of how much attention this is starting to gain. Myself and another HC poster for ADN both work for an oil & Gas company. In our recent Town Hall meeting presented by the General Manager to an audience that covered three massive facilities across two states, he actually stated that the company was looking to carbon capture as one of the ways we go forward as being a Greener O&G company.

He even asked for any recommendations from the huge workforce on any information that people may have going into this area.

In a recent email to ADN I highlighted this and suggested that when the time is right I would like to put them in contact with the company. The content of my email was quite exhaustive with other questions and it was James that responded that very day.

As you can imagine, he was very keen to be given the info that there are big multinationals with mega-cash, interested in looking at this technology as part of their business model. And this isn't well into the future stuff, this is requests being made now.

The company I work for would be selling in the region of $100-170M of product a week.

These are companies that want to be seen as clean. And if one of the number of O&G companies, and these are mainly LNG which is considered the cleanest of the O&G industry already, finds a technology that can utilise Carbon Capture, they will all jump on it in one way or another. Money is not a consideration, it is all about reputation and they will throw whatever they need at it to get working as an improvement to their process.

$4-5M/tonne is chicken feed for these companies.

I will be calling ADN in the near future to get more detail on their progress and getting it directly from James. I will then be putting forward the information to my company and at least get the ball rolling.
