I could be wrong as I don't follow the ways of shorters, but to me it looks like they are trying to draw sellers into the 25.5c level with smaller buys and then buying larger parcels at this level when they can. They then instantly do a few more small buys at this level to make it look like the SP will not rise further.
To me it looks like shorters are trying to leave.
Risk/Reward IMO for shorters is now too great to hang around. I would imagine many of the late to the party shorters would now be very worried.
