www.britishbulls.co.uk charters switched CFU to a buy after a quiet, low volume advance overnight much similar to the falls of late.

Meanwhile CERES power is going great guns breaking upward 7% or 14p to rest around 210p.

Given CFU has a more positive scenario than ceres im quietly confident that this will be reflected in the sp..but lets hope sooner rather than later.

Even 10% of the Ceres sp would be nice, and CFU deserves more well than this.

Heres some supportive ramblings from the UK forum, dont know how accurate they are but profiles some good points about Ceres. Plenty of room in the world for many players and not meaning to run Ceres down, just trying to profile the difference and justify a better sp for CFU......as follows....

.."I actually think the Ceres Unit will be a better fit for the UK domestic market."

My understanding is, and forgive my explorative ramblings, that this is not at all the case.

Please point out errors in my thinking, of which there may be many:

Ceres never used to be 'behind' CFU in development. They were seen as the front funner up until Septemberish 2007, and there shares climbed to £4 on the expectation of the release of their prototype unit. (Lucky me, I had some!). They planned at some point around this time, (I knew the date back then), to have a 'launch' at which time they would demonstrate their unit to representatives from the London Stock Exchange. We waited eagerly, with sentiment similar to previously here, for Ceres to announce their details, but at the time, some details were all kept until the launch.

At the time, us Ceres holders saw CFU as distant possible competion but way behind, with no results or prototypes published. (and to suddenly change loyalties is logical but not easy for the sentimental).

The BBC covered the topic, I seem to remember the BBC's business correspondent 'Declan' wearing a cagool and visiting a 'typical family house' and looking at their boiler and the efficiency of their dishwasher using heat and electricity, etc, just a day or two before the 'launch'

The launch came and the shares PLUMETED. Luckily for me I bailed out, but pity those who were not so quick, as when they revealed their efficiencies, true they saved carbon dioxide output, but were not high enough to make the unit economically viable.

The BBC said of the boilers, disappointingly (Sian Williams) 'but they don't REALLY work do they', shaking her head and looking very sadly at the camera - if my memory is right - oh, I normally prefer to rely on other people's.... but was stirred to put across the point.

True that I think they do indeed have a higher power output to CFU and were hoping the boiler to be used in the more conventional 'on/off' mode, more like a conventional boiler, but with efficencies of around ~40% it would just not compete with combustion.

I think that some sort of world-tour to drum up sales didn't come to much and they struck up a relationship with Calor, aiming the product at the rural market - ie cheaper for a utility to recommend such a unit in a rural area rather than to add the inefficiency of laying and maintaining long pipes and cables for a single house or three. (We are the British Isles, after all).

Hence, this was my understanding of the Shares magazine comment, "Ninety per cent of consumers buy the boiler recommended to them" - rather than it being an obvious commercial choice! IMHO

    (Sorry Ceres).

So this year, when CFU finally announced the long-awaited results of their efficiency trials, which were very good, I became interested and soon became a convert! (Not QUITE soon enough, but that's my problem).

And, unlike British Ceres, and full credit for their work, but when CFU demonstrated their unit their shares ROSE with approval!

In my opinion, it's the front runner and the only viable option. (Could run on bottled gas also).

Anyone wanna pay for the low-energy boat ride for a Shares magazine reporter to visit CFU, eh?
