Person buying a car that has a sale price of 30K on it but the guy only really wants 25K. You think its worth the extra 5k so you buy it.
Someone else says, oh no its not worth that and proceeds to smash the windows so its worth 25K. Are you happy?What would happen if someone did that in the real world?
People pay what THEY believe is good value. I know we where overvalued at the top but IMO we would still be in the .30's if it wasn't for the market manipulation. People invest for the future, Ive bought property above market because I was confident I would get the return in years to come.
The market decides its overvalued by shorting and artificially driving the price down by using computer algorithms, shock dump tactics and widespread miss information?? Doesn't really sound fair to me.
Its part of the game as they say but I totally reject the attempt at the "justification".
