Nice to hear about this and it backs up the reason for the JV extension.

Roly mentioned downstream opportunities to now be considered to be included in the JV - here is the first one.

Personally, I think the testing is a little more progressed than the announcement suggests and the plan was to release this after the JV - however, given they want to include it in the JV they had to make it known to market now - albeit at a very high level only.
There's no coincidence in the timing of this update.

To be balanced though there's still a lot of water to go under the bridge on this opportunity clearly.
As we know FYI and EGR have been collaborating now via the FBI CRC with various universities and other battery value chain companies for a few years so they would have been trialling all sorts of battery technology.
Looking forward to finding out more detail on this.

And having the technology is one thing, having the superior products to apply to the new technology is another and with EGR and FYI you are getting a superior product application.

Focusing on the 'opportunities' comment from the ASX announcement last Friday hopefully another announcement or two comes soon on other development we have been working on in the wings that Alcoa now wants in on.
