Some DOW report dates
13/10 JNJ
14/10 JPM (also GS non DOW)
15/10 IBM (noticed this is a "crash date" - interesting in that the Nasdaq has been leading the charge)
16/10 BoA,GE
17/10 Citi (non DOW)
make, brake or break week....be interesting whether we moving up into this week....or down into it...
overall expectations for the DOW sept qtr earnings ($18.90)are less than they were for Jun qtr ($19.82).....so smaller hurdle to jump with relatively the same trading conditions....
perhaps 2 things
1. bank writedowns could still be the great unknown.....
2. 2010 earnings expectations are currently 21% above 2009 - nothing like being positive about the future - ASX20 is looking for only 2% increase for 2010 - so this might be the area for greatest disappointment
