so if ADN falls out of the index in March next year the shorters will presumably have to buy back on the market and then give the shares back to the index manager who then sells them when ADN goes out of the index
is that the process or is the buy back and sell somehow consolidated into one transaction
also what will this mean fir the share price at the time
