For me there are a couple differences that pushed me toward Tagla over Syrah, that said I have had my eye off SYR but should have another look.
SYR are in Africa, Talga in Europe, risk.
Distance and shipping cost to battery factory is far shorter for Talga (I think some assumptions here).
Talga seem to have a clearer road map on the AAM side, technical product development.
Europes battery rules will support local production
However Talga needs a permit, kind of important.
I will have a closer look at SYR again.
