    In this video by Jordan Giesige's ‘The Limiting Factor’ he does a conservative breakdown of how much in house battery manufacturing Tesla needs to be doing by 2025 to meet demand.. 280 gwh he conservatively arrived at. How many tonnes of anode is required to make 280 gwh of LFP batteries?

    Tesla's 250gwh Brandenburg plant is going to be the biggest in the world. Where will they be getting all that anode from for all of those batteries? From China? Not green enough for the EU, and besides when you see the massive scale up in EV production in that country, are the European car makers going to be able to rely on supply? Germany? In my research I’ve only found one graphite mine in the Country, and it seems to be more graphite lubricants focused, it’s website contains a statement that basically states anode is an area they’re interested in doing some R&D on, my guess is it’s an extremely low grade deposit as Germany doesn’t appear to be known for graphite, the main thing the Germans have to mine in their Country is dirty lignite coal.




    I guess there are all the other graphite explorers coming out now making big headlines in Africa, North America and even here in Australia. Some of them are getting really excited about finding 6-8% grade deposits!!… follow through the logistics and economics of that in your head and see if you can find a way any of them will compete with Talga’s product offerings!… the less dirt you’re moving the cheaper and easier it is to make the anode, obviously, and the Swedes are incredibly skilled and efficient miners.. how will anyone compete for anything more than what Talga cannot supply? When you have Talga’s Vittangi deposit coming in at a whopping 24% and wait til we get these next drill results back from a spot that has already intersected grades in the 30’s!
