I've now changed my sentiment from buy to none, because its clear many shareholders are going to keep picking at this scab until they do some real damage. It won't matter what the BOD achieves over the next 12 months, the emboldened Karens will be on a mission to sink ADN, because their haughty pride is more important than the company. Its clear many think they should be running the company.
The Non-Execs are doing what they should do. The only issue is the pay, which, without more information, appears excessive. However, if in future ADN needs to pay a couple of $100K extra for long lead items costing millions, no one will blink. So the issue is more about principle, and the principle isn't important enough to continue undermining the company post AGM, particularly after shareholders succeeded in sending a clear message.
I do think shareholders can sink a company, and for that reason, I'll be looking to exit ADN soon.
