Also depends if you've held the shares long enough that cap gains are halved for tax purposes...

I'm averaged at 16c so paying tax on 50% of the capital gain is better than copping the dividend with full income tax payable where possible. I can only do that with half of my shares - and the rest I will keep for PSC 2.0 and cop the divvy in the following FY as well which is a nice spread.

There's a surprising amount of different scenarios people can find themselves in, with a lot of factors they won't mention, so don't assume anyone else's strategy is the best for you.
