I think you are having people on. The real head scratcher is how such an incoherent post gets six likes.

On the slim chance you aren't just stirring the pot, I'll say this. Hope plays no role. Research is essential to success. Yes, ADN has many unknowns. But much is knowable. Such as how are juniors typically priced during the exploration cycle, what proportion fail - why and at what stage, what is the outlook for prices, and so on. Then you can contextualize that with ADN knowns, such as the PFS, the ML approval, etc, and so forth. You then look at your own success rate with previous stocks, whether you'll need the money in future, etc, etc; which again should be a known. These are just a few superficial examples. But already, even just doing that eliminates a lot of risk. It tells you what is a likely appropriate sized investment outlay and strategy for you. To give you an example, I invest in spec mining stocks during the orphan period, after the resource is proved up, when many holders get bored and move on. I look for NPV to mkt cap ratios greater than 10, low capex, and most importantly by far, great management. Where I've come undone, its been insufficient focus on management. I diversify enough to avoid a single point of failure, but not so much that only mediocre returns are possible.

If you know nothing about ADN, except that you like concrete, then yes, IMHO you are gambling, not investing. But your gambling doesn't make ADN a gamble. But I suspect that is the narrative you are pushing, which is why, IMHO, you keep popping up with phrases like "give your money to someone else to hope they make a buck for you".
