After watching a recent Ledipico interview, I'm trying to work this all out and hopefully someone can set it straight for me.... if there exists a continually increasing lithium supply deficit, then you could argue that car companies and consumers will be less scrupulous when sourcing their lithium - and therefore wouldnt capacity and supply win over the green carbon neutral aspect? I understand and there is environmental requirements but perhaps companies will simply greenwash and buy credits to appease public and investors
Unless.... and I'm not sure if this makes sense but by going with Traxys not only do you avoid profit loss by car companies leveraging their name forna discount but you could also gain greater profit per tonne (as we are on a lower cost curve) by charging the same other lithium companies and use the green credentials as the draw card.
Thoughts? Trying to work out if our windows is shrinking or getting wider...
