I am not sure if you guys read the article correctly (or perhaps I haven't) but it states "Submissions will be made to the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) and the US Department of Agriculture in 2005 and 2006". It goes on to state that “The regulatory process for biological products tends to be quicker than for synthetics.” I assume that this means that approval for use of their product does not have to come from the FDA (in the US). However the article does not give any indication of just how long the approval process may take. It’s interesting to note that cmq made their first submission to the FDA back in 2001 and they are not expected to get approval until 2006 - that's 5 years after the initial submission. So I think 2 years to market is very wishful thinking. I have seen the article before and was told that it was paid for by imu – although I don’t know if this is true.
