737 Perth-Brisbane = 5hrs per cycle
4 flights per day
28 per week = 1,401 cycles per YEAR
= ONE indpection per year to meet AD mandate of 1200 cycles between inspections.
Melb- Sydney 1hr per cycle
12 cycles per day
4,200 cycles per Year
= THREE inspections per year.
That is a bit simplistic as individual aircraft do not spend their lives on just one route but it illustrates the variance in time periods.regardsless of the interval being 122 cycles or not
