I would argue that the post DFS sell-off was greater than it shouldn've been not because of ADN's shareholder base but rather because did not take into account the shareholder base in their communications.
JM understands that many shareholders didn't understand the DFS but he failed to acknowledge that ADN's sub-optimal messaging was the main reason for this.
Messaging isn't as important as mining and refining. But it's up there.
