If the Turks want gold fine, if I lived there I'd have USD's, it's the best bet around at the moment. Goldbugs have been waffling on the gold forum for years about the 'worthless' USD and they've been 100% wrong.
Why would I buy gold? It's absurd.
Third world countries often think gold's the best bet, but it isn't, look at Venezuela and Zimbabwe, 2 of the biggest basket cases on the planet.
