Completely Wrong. That is called drying shrinkage cracking and is completely different. Please don't try to correct someone when you don't even have a basic understanding yourself.

Thermal cracking is when the internal temp of the slab gets too hot ( from rapid chemical reaction ) and cracks from basically cooking itself.

Reducing curing time (the time it takes to reach its designed MPA) is extremely beneficial to the construction company & client.Suspended slabs can have back propping removed earlier, fit out can occur earlier, residents can move in earlier.

Yes hence why 3/4/5 days pt mixes are commonly used... you can get to 50mpa in a few hours if you wanted but its not helpfull nor is it extremely beneficial.
