    I find it strange that the Astrazeneca got pulled due to issues with potential adverse effects and the other options that have a perceived potential for adverse effects potential do not have our health authorities, at a minimum, suggesting that there is a risk.

    It would give our health authorities at least some credibility if it turns out that these remaining treatments happen to be a bit “queer”.

    Proper scientific research always leaves the door open for unexpected surprises, as the scientists are still working through the facts.
    Wouldn’t the good scientists offer their opinions with a caveat that they are still working through a lot of new information and even though they have confidence in these treatments, wouldn’t they use the ambiguous phrase that gives them an out “with information at hand”?

    Politicians need facts, scientists need to look for absolute facts, even if the results don’t fit into what they thought may have been true.
