Have you got a re-entry target price in mind @AHS

Not so much a price as a time - which on current indications may never arrive. There is plenty else to do in this market and I have thankfully never been seriously financially committed to SPL. Has there ever been a company that promised so much, disappointed so often, and treated its shareholders with such disdain. (Good word disdain - "the feeling that someone or something is unworthy of one's consideration or respect").

I see it this way. The major institutional shareholders - investing opm - spread these spec investments far and wide and accept that some are going to fail. They mark to market so have already taken a lot of the pain. SPL is now relatively insignificant , they currently have no palatable exit mechanism, and it is not high on their agenda other than to fiddle with the share price (probably remotely). Despite the never-ending discussion on HC the existing products - even viraleze - are largely irrelevant in the big picture and SPL remains a punt on the technology which could well be on its way to redundancy given the incredible time lapse. It seems big pharma keeps its foot on it for insurance rather than any immediate urge to commercialise anything.
The amazing survival of the existing Chair and CEO and their remuneration can only confirm the insto disinterest. (Although instos like big remuneration - helps to justify their own). If they (instos) leave the current incumbents in place this time then everyone should either sell or if they can't bring themselves to do that then put it in the bottom drawer and turn their attention and energies elsewhere.
But @Sarge if you want me to put a re-entry number on it it will be significantly higher than current for the same reasons you have put forward.
No advice here - all just imo.
