- Was this Pump and Dump or was it just inflating the price to the detriment of the long term Telstra shareholder.

"Should the Libs have realised that the rules would have changed once there was a change of government- probably. Does that mean that they should not have floated the company- no."
- The company possible should have been floated as two separate companies in the first place, would of saved all of these problems now; (pity the Libs where short sighted).

- That's how our government works, whoever is in power are there to make changes.

razorack are you invested in Telstra because you believe that you will make money or are you invested in Telstra for another reason?

I agree with you that the whole thing is a mess, with no quick or easy solution.
Getting angry and pointing the finger to find someone to blame seems to be counter productive in investment terms.
The election will be won or lost on a lot more issues than Telstra being split and having to compete on a level playing field.

I am invested in Telstra because I believe that there is still upside to the share price, it is not an emotional investment.

I find it sad that there are so many Telstra shareholders on this forum that are more concerned about who to blame and less concerned about if Telstra is worth investing in or not.
