I was waiting for the ideological debate to get thrown onto the AGL table. It is an inevitability in all matters of carbonisation, the fabric of our human development and existence until now.

MCB has never been interested in the financial well being of AGL. His agenda is well known to all as he states it from his "elevated position of wealth" to be good for everyone and good for the planet and only he and those like him have the power to do it. What a wonderful privilege he enjoys at effectively no cost to himself.

I do NOT object to any individuals having any personal opinions they choose and to act in any personal matter as they chose.

I do object to those opinions becoming involuntary and imposed company policies to the detriment of existing stakeholders. Every business on earth including AGL is evolving and transitioning as a result of ongoing market forces innovating as and when it can to provide better outcomes for all.

In our now God-less and soul-less society, it has become the right of self proclaimed demi-gods (who happen to have become rich) to fill the void of the mind-less masses. They have done it at Davos for many years, now it has arrived in full force in Australia.

I am not a Director of AGL so my view is of no value to the company. Yet it is with regret the personal views of the powerful few can hijack an energy provider at a time when reliable, affordable energy is so in need of a backbone to meet the very needs of the rest of us mere mortals.
