In Europe alone over 120M tonnes of CO2 was emitted from concrete production in 2018.
Current cost is over $100/Euros per tonne for 1 carbon credit to offset these emissions.
Regulations are continuing to tighten over emissions and credits to offset will increase in costs to pressure companies into meeting targets.
