I agree, EV's are still terrible cars, not even close to a comparable ICE. They are inferior in just about every way.
I just took delivery of a brand new RS3, had the choice of a Tesla S, was light years apart. Couldn't believe how uninspiring the Tesla was. Maybe when other manufacturers bridge the gap i'll be more interested. Look at the new electric Ferrari's, even they get terrible reviews and everyone almost always prefers to ICE alternative.
I understand a lot of people don't really care about cars, so there is obvious momentum for more mainstream passenger vehicles.
