Re her going into politics, she lacks the necessary ability to lie to one's face. So the deception was all done over the phone, but very convincingly, including shedding tears at the "loss" and the detailed failed attempts to recover the "lost funds".
My kidneys may have been affected, I'll need to watch for protein in the urine. :)
