Yes it spiked due to Ukrainian attacks but the price hike was speculation. Always happens with oil, spike up even to a Saudi Prince fart.
Speculators glorify the price, sell short and make money. There's plenty of stocks to cover the drops in supply but they ignore that to make a quid.
