Visible gold has been hit in the first diamond drilling hole at the Wilber Lode, part of the 80% owned Doray Minerals (ASX: DRM) Meekatharra North Project in Western Australia.
The visible gold was intersected in a 3 metre wide zone of mineralised quartz lode, 160 metres down, with the Wilber Lode just 100 metres south of a hit returning; 2.55m at 89g/t gold, including 1.05m @ 204g/t gold.
Doray's current drilling campaign is focused on testing depth extensions to the high-grade Wilber Lode, along with additional shallower holes, which could be used for the definition of a maiden JORC resource.
Previous rounds of drilling at the Wilber Lode have uncovered spectacular grades at the Andy Well prospect, including:
- 5m @ 21.26g/t from 8-13m;
- 3m @ 75.35g/t from 73-76m; and
- 3m @ 74.82g/t from 83-86m.

These results were announced in July 2010 this share was 13 cent nine months ago now $1.40 and look at ton all diamond drilling result came with not significant gold but management team encourage with these result! what a joke!
