I guess i would agree that all misses go against mgt rep to an extent when the sp is low and not uprating

but ive a lot of experience with this specific issue and i can say definitively that things like offtakes and financing timelines are understood by sophisticated investors as qualified by *subject to market conditions. It's only relatively uninformed money that hangs onto those.

realistically if the CR had been executed at 12-13c as would typically be the case and so the chart was more inherently constructive - they'd all be regarded as non issues

but the main issue really is the positioning as that drives the past cr bid

as for mgt... I guess that is something you can make known once you hold shares.

As ive said prior i also wouldnt be surprised if bml is the short on a hedge fund or other pros long short pair trade bc of the CN and then the CR issue.

it's actually a big item on the tsxv atm - funds have been running around offering financings to jnr miners trying to get exactly that outcome from unwitting mining execs

the good news is that those shorts result in ripping rallies if the sector itself rerates - which may be v close given US fomc meeting outcomes are out tonight.

the PM action was v constructive last night off the back of fairly dismal US confidence survey results

That and world bank talking of how US is risking a recession atm and threatens global growth are signposts.

there won't be a cut tonight I'm fairly sure - but if the fomc tone is dovish the market will lift conviction on a 50bps rate cut in sep. 1 of 25 is already largely priced in
