I just don’t understand the indifference and/or apathy of the shareholder base. Starpharma has approximately 412m shares on issue. Only 165m votes were cast in total to determined the fate of Resolution One.

That means 247m shares sat idle in shareholder hands without being cast at all. This is quite remarkable considering how far the share price has fallen, the extreme lack of positive operational advancements, and the resultant destruction of shareholder value over the last 2 years.

Of note, it was the lowest number of votes cast to determine the Remuneration Report since the 2015 AGM.

All I can say is you get what you vote for, but unfortunately institutional shareholders will always have the most leverage regardless of whether they choose to vote or not apparently.
