It's quite silly to claim that quarterlies are only released on open or close. They're released to the market at all times of day. And it's not like companies have one on hand in case a speeding ticket looms. Even if that were true, what is it in the quarterly to explain today's buying? Everything is already known, bar the low cash burn for the quarter, and nobody is loading up because of that.
Today was either leaky news or someone taking a very large position. It didn't look like a pump, too many large buys and not enough crosstrades.
