MBJ- i'm new to all this too.
i found this site explained the concepts around charts in a straightforward way.

TA's and FA's appear to be the 2 camps in trading. Technical Analysts and Fundamental Analysts.
fundamentals i can get my head round but charts seemed like some sort of tea leaf reading exercise, still does to some degree but, thanks to that link above, i least i know what the squiggly lines mean.
