Sharedwealth you are dreaming if you think its only Doctors and professionals who are doing all the property punting. In my experience it is mainly tradies and anyone else who thought it looked easy now they are all getting very twitchy.
The unemployment figures mean nothing it is underemployment which is the issue as soon as hours get cut back and other expenses creep up the whole cart gets out of balance.
Negative gearing wont help them survive the next few years they need cash now.
