Yes, sorry to hear about that situation with the timing being poor. Unfortunately, many , many people are in this situation now and it is generally not handled with sensitivity or fairness.

I have found that many things that have happened to me in life were not 'fair'from my perspective and I looked at them from a victim's view-point. This changed for me at some point when a life altering event happened and I came to the realisation that life isn't fair, but that is o'k.

From that point I tried to look at everything from a sense of perspective and realised that there are many roads in life and when one is closed it is a matter of finding another and being happy with the different view from the one envisaged.

The main game is the wedding and a life with a partner that loves him. an important box in life is then ticked. From there the joys and sorrows of the trip are shared and halved.

I hope they enjoy a rewarding life together.
