purple spotted gudgeons never stopped the Mt. Fitton talc mine, the Paralana slate quarry at Mt. Daly or the Beverley uranium mine. And of course the Sprigg's ( owners of Arkaroola ) have mineral exploration backgrounds themselves.
In fact they support the drilling so much they have offered to feed and accomadate the drilling crews in the coming 4 month program! So they're obviously not against it.
The aboriginals aren't against it - they've signed off on the hard to get 'Part 9B' agreement.
The state govt. isn't against it - they issued the Exploration Licence and Drilling Permits.
Gee, I guess that only leaves DAVE against it! Now why would that be?.......
