Most of the properties that are being bought in the U.S. are repossessed properties off the Banks by the big real estate funds. I say again most of the properties. It is not being driven by the average American or the average American family. The Banks in the U.S. have 100's of 1000's of these properties and they are offloading them to these funds. This does not mean there is a recovery in the U.S. housing market at all. If you look into it a lot of the properties are being bought for cash, not a loan. The U.S. FED is putting Billions into buying mortgage backed debt off the Banks and so the Banks mortgage debt looks a lot better and tells a very different story. I looked into buying realestate in the U.S. and did some research.
