There is only 1 party campaigning for the election, only 1 putting signs around the country with their faces. If an uncontested election was to be held in a couple of weeks from now, it clearly would not be accepted as a legit result, and further protests or something more will occur.
It's interesting to watch unfold, but hardly helpful for our IPO prospects: expect a drawn out timeline.
By the way, they say 20-30% of a projects value is paid out in bribes. Not quite the $1000 bribes I had imagined. But possibly $1,000,000s going into official hands.
