If it did hit the water at that speed id have thought the wings and vertical tail would have completely separated from the fuselage?

Even if the tail was hammered flat and somehow stayed connected it still look like an L shape...

The pieces would have had to have been completely disconnected then neatly begun floating side by side each other to make anything resembling a 22m by 13m solid rectangle...
