TB_J: I am invested (lightly) in an oil explorer involved in Mongolia (which is equally north as "northern China" of course and I do know for sure that they cannot operate there during the winter months. Naturally, the infrastructure is also less advanced in Mongolia compared to China, but the climatic reasons are for sure forbidding sometimes.
Hence, I sense that the same MIGHT be true for northern Sweden as well...
