They may very well had an interested party, but that party may have been playing hardball in negotiations so EGO has played hardball back.
Fast-tracking of exploration is not essential for EGO as the plant is currently operating near capacity, the reserves upgrade shows we have time and cash before the gas runs out. This means that sourcing replacement gas to keep production going is not an imperative priority, it is still important however RGN, if successful, will enable EGO to maintain production for quite a few years.
We now have cashflow to cover exploration commitments albeit slowly, we have cash in the bank to do the next drill, RGN.
In other words, EGO is not desperate for a farmin partner.
